libyaml-cpp0.3-dev software package provides YAML parser and emitter for C++ - development files (0.3 series), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libyaml-cpp0.3-dev
libyaml-cpp0.3-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libyaml-cpp0.3-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libyaml-cpp0.3-dev *
You will get with libyaml-cpp0.3-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
